Is this a three leg capacitor on a Pfaff 1222E?:
This part on interference capacitor blew in the machine. http://www.electro-tech-online.com you can get more information and help. 

If your motor is good, the light is still on but nothing happens when you push the foot control it will be the following component faulty. I've replaced the transistor and it works perfectly again. I'll add some more photos or do another post to explain the repair in more details.

The BRY39 could be faulty.
